Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are ill and physically injured, and give thy power of healing to those who minister to their needs, that those for whom our prayers are offered may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in thy loving care. This we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord
Grant, O God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so
move every human heart, that barriers which divide us may
crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that our
divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace. That the evil that enters human hearts that cause horrendous events be purged.
This we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Holy One, you are our comfort and strength in times of sudden disaster.
Surround those that have suffered in storm, earthquake, fire or flood with your grace and peace. Help those who are victims of natural disasters to rebuild their lives. By your Spirit, sustain those who work to rescue or rebuild, through Jesus Christ, our rock and redeemer.
Dear God, We lift our leaders and ministries up to you in prayer. They need Your wisdom, direction and understanding heart. Please keep them humble and always relying upon You. Give them the wisdom of Solomon and direction that they need. Help them to consider information offered by others and also to come to You in prayer as they evaluate issues. We pray this in Jesus name.
Father. It is only by your grace that we minister in prayer as we do. Your Spirit called us out of our lives and homes to come here to lift up others, not only for their strengthening, healing, consoling and guiding, but most importantly for You be revealed to all as our great ‘I AM’.
We know we are unworthy, in and of ourselves, to do this work, but we are assured by faith in you, that we are called by you to be your ambassadors and that you make us worthy through Jesus our Lord.
And so, Father, we ask your forgiveness and that you make us clean again, so that we may enter into your throne room with courage and the faith that you will hear our prayers. Our prayers are imperfect, but you Lord are perfect and will do what is good and right with each of our requests. We know this and trust this by the many promises you’ve made to us in your word and by looking to the cross that took the earthly life of our Savior Jesus and replaced it with our eternal intercessor. We, humbly, with our savior, speak to you and ask you to exercise your mighty power to the benefit of all those we lift up to you.
In Jesus name.
