Heart Seeds 2025 #2 Groundhog and Valentine Greetings from Heart Seeds
On February 2, Pennsylvania resident Punxsutawney Phil woke up to scattered sunshine peeking through the clouds. Walking outside, he saw his shadow, and made national news. Hopes for an early spring were put on hold for six more weeks and winter took center stage.
The sight of a shadow prolonged winter and delayed spring. (All folklore of course.) And yet, shadows have a way of creeping into our lives and staying put. Soon we forget they are there and wonder why winter is lasting so long.
The only thing the LORD delays is His judgement. He wants to give everyone time to come to Him.
He gave… His Son… John 3:16
It’s a great gift. There will never be a greater One. He wants all to receive it.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9 NIV
Nothing can exceed God’s gift. Because of Jesus, we can have eternal life and walk with Him forever… starting NOW.
His blessings are available 24/7.
No matter what season of life we find ourselves in, It’s Time to Sing. “For lo the winter is past… the time of singing has come”. Song of Songs 2:11-12
Phil, the groundhog, is known for his shadow. Let us be known for our LIGHT. Leave the shadows behind and sing to the world, “Spring Has Come!”
Let’s show them Jesus. Let’s show them His love.
Please join us this for worship this Sunday morning at 11:00. The Pastor is continuing his sermon series on Rest.
Heart Seeds is revealing its 11 month -TRIP-TIK for our journey through the Bible’s Route 66, six books each month. You can check our progress on our church’s website as we explore God’s Word and plant seeds together.

I am putting together a list of our favorite verses as we journey month by month. By the end of the year we should have quite a collection!
