Please help those are suffering loss and overwhelming grief. Right now it seems like nothing will ease their pain of this loss. We turn them to you for comfort now. We seek your loving and reassuring presence for them. Please, dear Lord, be their strong fortress. Give them your grace to face each day.

O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole
creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: Preserve
those who travel; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey’s end; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are ill and physically injured, and give thy power of healing to those who minister to their needs, that those for whom our prayers are offered may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in thy loving care. Lord, We come before you today knowing that all power is in your hands. We know that you are the Lord and that you care for your people. You are the healer of the broken hearted. Right now, these people are struggling with difficult trials. We can see their strength is faltering, Lord, and know that you have all of the strength that they need. By your love and power help them move on to emotional wholeness. Cover them with your healing hand, and give them your peace. May your powerful presence make a difference in their lives as you lift each one up and carry them through difficult times. We pray this in Jesus name.

Grant, O God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so
move every human heart, that barriers which divide us may
crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that our
divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace. That the evil that enters human hearts that cause horrendous events be purged.
