Let us pray for students, teachers, professors, staff, and all those who are starting a new season 2026-2027
God of possibilities,
We come to you as we begin a new school year and return to many of the routines and responsibilities that come with this time. We pray especially for our children and young people going back to school, for their teachers and school staff, and for parents and families getting used to new schedules and new challenges.
We also remember that many of us are beginning new seasons in different areas of our lives, at work, at home, in the church, in our relationships, and even within ourselves.
Be with us as we face what is new, what excites us, and also what makes us a little uncertain about the days ahead.
Give us wisdom to make good decisions, patience when things do not go as planned, courage when challenges come, and grace to care for one another along the way. Help us notice your presence in our everyday lives, in our classrooms and workplaces, in our homes and communities.
May this new season give us opportunities to learn, to serve, to build meaningful relationships, and to grow into the people you are calling us to be. Whatever the coming months may bring, remind us that we do not walk through them alone, because your love surrounds us and your Spirit goes with us every day.
